The GY98 pairs premium brown alumina with a 0.8 mm vulcanized fiber backing stiff enough to take real pressure on an angle grinder, yet breathable enough to keep the disc from overheating and glazing.
Uniform grain that doesn’t shed gives strong, consistent cut on weld seams, burrs, paint and rust - proven across shipbuilding, automotive, bridge and construction work, and gentle enough at the fine end for bamboo and wood products.
