Dry sandpaper is bought by use case more than by color. This category covers 230 x 280 mm dry sanding sheets for furniture lacquer, woodwork, metal parts and interior finishing, plus one 500 x 135 mm hook-and-loop strip for walls and flat panels.
Choose by paper color and backing
The blue dry papers are the broader working lines. Fengmang Dry Abrasive Paper Sheet uses high-strength blue paper with brown aluminum oxide for furniture paint and metal sanding. Gangying Blue Dry Sandpaper Sheet is also a 230 x 280 mm blue sheet, with listed uses extending to furniture lacquer, metal derusting, jade polishing and interior decoration.
For regular furniture and woodworking finishing, the white and yellow sheets keep the choice simpler. Match the grit to the job
Most dry sheets here start at P120, so they are not positioned as heavy stripping cloth. Use them for preparation, scratch refinement and final dry sanding steps:
- P120-P180 - first leveling on furniture lacquer, woodwork or metal parts.
- P240-P320 - smoothing after the first cut, or dry preparation before another coating step.
- P400-P600 - finer dry sanding where the product range supports it.
The yellow sheet stops at P400, while the blue and white sheet lines extend to P600. Other standard grits are made to order where the product page lists that option.
When a strip works better than a sheet
For walls, drywall and large panels, a hand sheet may be too small. The Gangying White Hook-and-Loop Sanding Strip is 500 x 135 mm, with a flocked back and P120-P320 range. Its data positions one strip as covering about three standard discs, so it suits flat panel finishing and wall sanding.
Ordering notes
Quote requests should separate sheet color, grit mix and pack quantity. Standard dry sheets are 230 x 280 mm and commonly packed 100 sheets per pack; Fengmang and the yellow dry paper also list 1,000 sheets per carton. For strip orders, specify grit range and whether the job is wall, panel or drywall preparation.
