When to use super-soft DA278
The SAIL Super-Flex Non-Loading Cloth Roll is the specialized roll in this group. Its applications are stainless steel and copper polishing, marble and stone finishing, hardwood and synthetic materials.
Because SAIL starts at P180 and runs to P600, it is better treated as a finishing and polishing roll rather than the first coarse cut. For rougher hand sanding, the Gangying blue roll or JB-5S roll begins at P60.
Grit range and surface fit
- P60-P120 - available on the Gangying and JB-5S rolls for earlier sanding steps.
- P180-P320 - a practical middle range for profile work, wall polishing and material transition.
- P400-P600 - finer finishing where the selected roll supports it.
