Belts are where Gangying’s converting equipment earns its keep: GXK51-P jumbo rolls are slit and joined in-house to any belt size, so odd machine formats and short runs are no problem.
Any size, made to order
There is no fixed size list. Tell us the belt length and width your machine takes - from small sleeve belts for spindle and curved-surface work up to wide belts for flat sanders - and we convert to that specification. Because slitting and joining happen in-house rather than at a third-party converter, non-standard formats don’t mean long waits or minimum-run surcharges from an outside shop.
When you inquire, include belt dimensions (length x width), grit, and quantity per size - that is everything needed for a firm quotation.
Not sure of the size? Check the machine’s spec plate, read the print on the back of a current belt, or cut a worn belt at the joint and measure it laid flat end to end - that flat length is the belt length. Belt sizes are quoted as length x width in millimeters.
GXK51-P construction
GXK51-P is a cloth/paper composite backing: stiffer than pure cloth, so the belt sits flat and contacts evenly across the platen, while keeping enough flex to run as smaller sleeves. The aluminum-oxide grain is applied by electrostatic coating, which stands each grain upright and spreads it evenly - the belt cuts consistently across its full width and wears down without shedding grain.
The joint is where cheap belts fail. Ours is reinforced to hold at operating speed, so the belt wears out at the abrasive, not at the seam.
Grit selection (P40-P400)
- P40-P60 - rapid stock removal, dimensioning, cleaning up rough stock.
- P80-P120 - general-purpose sanding, levelling machine marks.
- P150-P240 - surface preparation before finishing.
- P320-P400 - fine finishing passes.
Other standard grits outside this range can be made to order.
