Applications
- Wood polishing
- Sheet-metal rust spots
- Craft & ornament sanding
- Ceramic surface work
A sanding sponge solves a different problem from a sheet: it puts the abrasive on a compressible block, so the pressure follows the shape of the work instead of staying flat. The Gangying Sanding Sponge Block uses an imported foam core in a 100 x 70 mm block size for wet or dry sanding.
The listed stock grits are 60# and 100#, with all standard market grits made to order. Its applications are wood polishing, sheet-metal rust spots, craft and ornament sanding, and ceramic surface work.
Why use a sponge block
Flat paper works well on flat panels, but it can crease, tear or cut unevenly around curved parts. A sponge block compresses under the fingers, so the abrasive face can follow small curves, corners and shaped details. That is why this item fits craftwork, ornaments and wood polishing as well as simple spot sanding.
The block also gives the operator a built-in hand pad. There is no need to wrap a sheet around a separate block for small jobs; the abrasive and the grip are already one piece.
100 x 70 mm handling
The 100 x 70 mm size is compact enough for hand sanding but large enough to cover a practical surface area. It can be held flat for wood polishing, angled onto an edge, or pressed lightly around a contour. For hardware and DIY channels, that makes the product easy for customers to understand without technical machine matching.
Because it is a block, not a loose sheet, it is also convenient for small repair kits and mixed sanding assortments.
Grits and sanding stage
The listed grits are 60# and 100#:
- 60# - stronger cut for visible marks, rougher wood polishing steps or sheet-metal rust spots.
- 100# - a less aggressive step for general smoothing and preparation.
- Other standard market grits - made to order when the buyer needs a broader sponge-block range.
The available data does not list a fine polishing ladder, so it is better to quote exact requested grits than to promise unsupported fine-grit stages.
Wet and dry use
The product is listed for wet and dry sanding. Wet use can be helpful for washable surface work or when the operator wants to control loose dust; dry use is convenient for wood, craft and general repair work. The imported foam core is the central material note, so it should stay in the quotation and product description.
Packing and quotation
Blocks are packed 250 pcs per carton. The reference price shown above is per piece. For a clear inquiry, send grit, carton quantity and target use - wood, sheet-metal rust spots, craft ornaments or ceramic surface work.
