Fengli Abrasive Cloth Sheet

The Fengli Abrasive Cloth Sheet is the red cloth-backed sheet for work that is too hard on ordinary paper. It is used for rust and paint removal, metal grinding and general workshop polishing, where the sheet may be folded, pulled around an edge or worked into a tight corner.

Each sheet measures 210 x 270 mm and uses brown aluminum oxide on cloth backing. The grade range runs from No. 3 (P36) through No. 0 (P120), giving hardware distributors and workshop suppliers a simple abrasive-cloth line for coarse-to-medium hand work.

Cloth backing for hand pressure and edges

The reason to choose a cloth sheet is mechanical strength. Metal repair and derusting often put the abrasive under uneven hand pressure: around a pipe, across a bracket, along a welded edge or into a corner. Cloth backing tolerates that handling better than a brittle sheet and helps keep the abrasive face usable after repeated folding.

For buyers, that makes this product a practical stock item where customers ask for “emery cloth” rather than a fine finishing paper. It is not positioned as a delicate finishing sheet; it is a tough workshop abrasive for removal and cleanup.

Traditional grades from No. 3 to No. 0

The listed grades map to a coarse-to-medium working range:

• No. 3 (P36) - aggressive derusting, heavy paint removal and first-pass metal cleanup.
• No. 2 - coarse grinding where the surface still needs strong bite but not the deepest scratch from the first grade.
• No. 1 - general metal preparation and blending after the rougher grades.
• No. 0 (P120) - finer cleanup before a following polishing or coating step.

Other standard grades can be made to order, so a buyer can keep the familiar No. grade system while matching the grit assortment to local demand.

210 x 270 mm sheet format

The 210 x 270 mm size is easy to sell as a hand sheet. It can be used full size for broad contact, torn down for small parts, or folded into a firmer edge for corners. That flexibility is useful in general maintenance shops where the same pack may be used on metal parts, old paint and mixed workshop polishing tasks.

Because the sheet is red and cloth-backed, it is visually distinct from paper dry sandpaper and waterproof sheets in a distributor range.
