Applications
- General grinding & polishing
- Rust removal
- Paint stripping
The Fengli Abrasive Sheet is a red brown-aluminum-oxide sheet for daily grinding, polishing, rust removal and paint stripping. It is built as a volume stock item: a familiar 230 x 280 mm sheet size, a wide P80-P600 grit range and packing that changes by grit band.
This product is different from the Fengli cloth sheet. It is the economical abrasive sheet line for general surface work, while the cloth-backed item is the tougher choice for folding and hard edge work.
Grit bands and how to stock them
The frontmatter splits packing by grit range because coarse and fine sheets are consumed differently:
- P80-P180 - packed 100 sheets per pack for grinding, derusting and paint stripping where each sheet does heavier work.
- P240-P600 - packed 200 sheets per pack for finer polishing and preparation, where buyers often use more sheets across a longer finishing sequence.
- Other standard grits - made to order when a buyer needs a local assortment outside the listed stock range.
For a distributor, that makes ordering straightforward: build a mixed grit set around the jobs your customers repeat most often, then quote the correct pack count by grit band.
230 x 280 mm full-sheet format
The 230 x 280 mm format gives enough surface area for hand sanding and can be cut or folded for smaller parts. A full sheet works on open panels and broad areas; halves and quarters are more convenient for corners, narrow faces and handheld polishing.
Because the size is consistent across the grit range, the same display, pack storage and customer instructions can cover coarse and fine grades.
Brown aluminum oxide for general abrasive work
The specified abrasive is brown aluminum oxide, a common choice for general grinding and polishing. In this sheet it is used for a practical set of jobs rather than one narrow specialist process: rust removal, paint stripping, and surface polishing after the stronger cut.
The red abrasive face also helps separate the product visually from dry sandpaper sheets in white, blue or yellow backing systems.
Typical application sequence
A workshop may use the coarse end first to remove the unwanted layer, then step upward through the fine grits before coating or polishing:
- Grinding and cleanup - start with P80-P120 when the surface needs visible correction.
- Rust removal - use the grit that removes corrosion without cutting deeper than needed.
- Paint stripping - coarse-to-medium grades remove old coating before a new preparation step.
- Polishing preparation - P240-P600 reduces the scratch pattern before the next finishing operation.
Inquiry notes
The reference price shown above is per sheet. For a useful quote, send the grit range, quantity by pack and whether you want the coarse 100-sheet packing, the fine 200-sheet packing or a mixed order across both bands.
